Yes, all 12 new stadiums were completed earlier this year.

The Beijing Winter Olympics are held in three regions: Beijing, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou.

Test drills and competitions have been held in earnest since the beginning of this month at each stadium.

On the 20th, the torch also arrived in Beijing and is on display.

The last Tokyo Olympics were held without spectators, but what will happen in Beijing?

[기자]

Yes, first of all, China has announced that it will not accept inbound spectators and will only sell tickets to people residing in mainland China.

It is said that it is only for those who meet the Corona 19 quarantine guidelines, but there are no specific conditions yet.

Vaccinations are virtually compulsory for athletes and other officials.

After entering the country, you have to stay in a closed circuit area, a so-called ‘bubble’, until you leave the country.

Restricted places such as stadiums, training grounds, accommodations and restaurants are only accessible by limited means of transportation.

Nucleic acid testing should also be done daily.

The key to the successful hosting of the Olympics is probably Corona 19.

[기자]

Yes, it is not, but 20 confirmed cases have been reported since October in Beijing, the venue where there have been no confirmed cases for a while.

This is an emergency for China, which has a ‘corona tolerance’ principle.

Marathons and exhibitions have already been canceled or postponed in each region.

In addition, the voices of the Beijing Olympics boycott in Europe and the United States are not waning due to human rights issues in Xinjiang, etc., which is expected to be a factor in the successful hosting of the Olympics.

So far, it has been delivered from Beijing.
