Diners need a very fine glass or a bottle of wine with their meal – we don't judge! – You do not want to fly blind and take a chance of a disappointing spill. Wine Enthusiast magazine published a useful guide that profiles the wonderful wine restaurants in 38 states and Puerto Rico.
The magazine offers a list of 100 best wine restaurants together each year, looking for a "restaurant incorporating wine on thoughtful and exciting ways."
The restaurants are not arranged as you prefer, because there is a ranking, and there is no matrix of the number of bottles of wine on hand, prices or types of food served by the restaurant.
"Instead," said Wine Enthusiast, "it is a choice of restaurants where wine is shared and celebrated, and, in our experience, the choice, the food, the service and the atmosphere are exceptional."
The 100 best wine restaurants found in the following states and in Puerto Rico: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Washington.
