1256 confirmed cases in Seoul… 81 fewer people compared to the previous day

The number of new coronavirus infections (COVID-19) in Seoul was tentatively counted at 1,256.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced as above about the number of new confirmed cases in Seoul for 21 hours from 00:00 to 9pm on the 28th. This is a decrease of 81 from 1,337 compared to the same time the day before. However, there were 181 more than 1,075 compared to the 21st a week ago.

The total number of confirmed cases per day was 1,676 on the 27th and 1278 on the 21st.

The daily number of confirmed cases in Seoul was in the 400 to 700 range in the last week of last month, just before the quarantine guidelines switched to a phased daily recovery (with Corona), but it is showing a sharp increase after soaring to 1004 on the 2nd of this month. 1436 people on the 16th, 1734 people on the 23rd, 1760 people on the 24th, and 1888 people on the 26th.

In addition, since the 13th of this month, the spread of the record continues for 15 consecutive days by day of the week.

Meanwhile, as of 9 p.m., the cumulative number of confirmed cases in Seoul was 152,967. The total number of confirmed cases, including the final tally, will be compiled as of 00:00 on the 29th and announced this morning.
