According to the Ministry of Strategy and Finance, the amount of the unspent budget, which subtracted the total expenditure and transfers from last year’s budget, was 12.9 trillion won, the highest in eight years.
In response, the government explained that, last year, part of the budget for the Corona 19 response project was not implemented, and the general real estate tax decreased, and the subsidy tax decreased the states.
Meanwhile, national tax revenue last year won 395.9 trillion, an increase of 51.9 trillion won from the previous year.
Corporate tax increased by 33.2 trillion won, but capital gains tax decreased by 4.5 trillion won.
