Melbourne: Glenn Maxwell has set a new record in the Australian Big Bash Twenty20 Cricket League. Maxwell broke the record for the highest scorer in the Big Bash League with a firing performance.
He scored 154 not out off just 64 balls. 22 fours and four sixes came from Maxie’s bat. Maxwell made this explosive performance for the Melbourne Stars. The opponent was the Hobart Hurricanes.
The Melbourne Stars, led by Maxwell, scored 273 for two in 20 overs. This is also a record. This is the highest score a team can achieve in the BBL.

This is Maxwell’s 100th BBL match. Maxwell put together a huge score with Marcus Stoinis. The Stones hit 75 off 31 balls with four fours and six sixes.
Batting first, the Melbourne Stars hit 29 fours and 10 sixes. All the players who bowled for the Hurricanes were beaten. Sandeep Lamichan was the top scorer with 52 runs in four overs.
