New Delhi: The Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rains in northern India from 18 to 21 this month. The western coast of the country will also receive heavy rains till July 23. The IMD also forecast isolated thundershowers in Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and eastern Rajasthan in the next 24 hours.
Caution is advised as thunderstorms can pose a danger to humans and animals. 18 to 21 g.
Isolated showers of 18 to 19 mm are forecast in isolated areas of Uttarakhand and northwestern UP. The western and southern parts of the country will also receive heavy rainfall. The next 5–6 days will bring heavy rainfall over the west coast and adjoining areas. The Konkan region, Goa, central Maharashtra, coastal Karnataka and Gujarat are likely to receive heavy rainfall on the 18th and 19th.
