2 detroit refugees injured at UAW headquarters

Detroit firefighters responded to a fire reported at the headquarters of the Auto Workers Saturday afternoon.

The fire started on the third floor of "Solidarity House," East Jefferson Avenue UAW Headquarters, WWJ reports.

A driving video and emergency response vehicles in the building's car park early on Saturday afternoon took video driving video made by Free Press photographer Mandi Wright.

WWJ reports that nine fire engines and multiple EMS trucks showed the scene, in which two firefighters were injured. WWJ reported that one firefighter had a manual injury. The other person complained about chest pains.

The Detroit Fire Department did not immediately respond to an inquiry from the Free Press.
