It is said that a rich young Chinese man who had assets worth 2 trillion won disappeared without paying off his debts, and creditors even offered a large bounty.

According to Chinese media today, Li Zhaohui, who was born in 1981, possessed 12.5 billion yuan in 2008, or about 2.2 trillion Korean won, and ranked as the richest man in Shaanxi in the list of the richest people in China compiled by Hurun Report.

He was the chairman of Hisense Group, the largest private enterprise in Shaanxi Province, and became a hot topic for a luxurious wedding with hundreds of wedding cars when he married actress Che Xiao in 2010.

However, Hisense Group went bankrupt in 2014, when its assets exceeded 1.8 trillion won, with debts of about 1.9 trillion won due to overproduction of steel, a recession, and loan recovery from financial institutions.

However, Li Zhaohui went missing, saying he had no property.

The debtor, Meijin Group, filed a claim for compensation with the court and even wagered a bounty.

Meijin Group said it would pay about 18 million won to the informant if it succeeds in finding Li Zhaohui’s whereabouts within the next year.

He also said that he would give 10% of the actual amount received as a reward if he helped find the hidden property in the name of Li Zhaohu or his sister’s company.
