2022 “League of Legends” PCS League kicks off on February 11, 6 of the 10 teams are new teams “League of Legends”

The following are the officially announced teams for the 2022 PCS Spring Split:

  • CTBC Flying Oyster (Taipei) – Comprising many well-known and experienced pros such as Gemini and Mission, Flying Oyster will use their greatest experience advantage for the upcoming season.

  • Deep Cross Gaming (Taipei) – Familiar players, including Hana, Nestea and Woody, gathered to get back on the field and challenge all their opponents. Deep Cross Gaming will be a new force to be reckoned with in Summoning the Rift and plan to use a new style of play to gain the upper hand.

  • Frank Esports (Hong Kong) – Frank Esports is ready to show their passion and determination to all PCS viewers. Although they are a newly formed team, they can’t wait to meet their opponents in the league.

  • Hurricane Gaming (Taipei) – Hurricane Gaming, formerly Alpha Esports, is ready to take a new storm. Remember to keep an eye on your radar alerts because a hurricane is coming!

  • Impunity Esports (Singapore) – Also known as “Team Impunity”, is a Singapore-based professional team established in 2009 and is currently operating the esports industry in 3 Southeast Asian countries. This year, they will still show their strength to the world in Summoning Canyon.

  • Mega Bank Beyond Gaming (Taipei) – Despite facing the departure of former mid and bottom laners, it is also accompanied by the addition of experienced players such as Likai, Minji and Wako. Let’s look forward to what the new lineup of Mega Bank Beyond Gaming will bring.

  • Meta Falcon Team (Taipei) – In collaboration with Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the Meta Falcon Team consisting of members of the 2021 Asian Cup champion team “Shang Shan Ruo Shui” is ready to challenge new opponents.

  • PSG Talon (PSG) (Hong Kong) – Last season’s champion PSG has welcomed new Korean players Juhan and Bay, and will challenge for the defending champion in this new season.

  • SEM9 (Malaysia) – Driven by passion, commitment and talent, what was once a dream has now come true for the Malaysian team, SEM9, as they compete against the elite of the PCS league.

The PCS Spring Split will be available on February 11th. The PCS regular season will be played in a BO1 format, and the playoffs will be double-elimination. All events will be broadcast in English, Chinese, Thai, and a new Cantonese channel.
