An online petition from a Chinese netizen demanding that a US military laboratory be investigated to reveal the origin of the COVID-19 virus has received 25 million signatures and was completed early this morning, China’s Global Times reported.
The Hwangu Times reported that the number of people who participated in the petition, which started on the 17th of last month, exceeded 5 million in three days, and in less than a full month, the number exceeded 20 million.
Last month, when the World Health Organization (WHO) director-general announced that additional investigations into the origins of COVID-19 should include a Chinese virus laboratory, Chinese netizens in this petition demanded that the US military base’s laboratory at Fort Detrick be included in the investigation.
