In particular, as the spread of the metropolitan area, where the population is concentrated, has intensified again, the number of confirmed cases in the 1,000 range is pouring in every day, and the proportion of the total regional outbreaks has greatly exceeded 70% every day, raising concerns about further spread.

As with last summer’s vacation season, the quarantine authorities are reviewing quarantine measures in accordance with the judgment that the spread of infection may occur from the metropolitan area to non-metropolitan areas along the population movement line during the Chuseok holiday (September 19-22).
