3-day program to demand payment of dues of jute mill workers

The permanent workers of the jute mills have made a three-point demand to reopen the closed state-run jute mills, pay all dues and savings certificates before Eid and take action against corrupt officials. At the same time, they also announced the next gate meeting, handing out memorandum and human chain program to realize the demand.

In a press conference at the Khulna Press Club on Tuesday (March 28) afternoon, the committee to collect fair dues of the permanent workers of the state-owned jute mill made this demand.

Convenor of the organization Sheikh Md. read the written statement at the press conference. Sadekuzzaman.
