A fire broke out at an adult dance hall in Daegu, killing one person and injuring two others.
Immediately after the fire, nearby CCTV filmed someone running away with his body on fire, and the police are chasing this person for possible arson.

A very popular shopping area in Dong-gu, Daegu.
Smoke is billowing from a shopping centre, and around 100 firefighters are being called in to put out the blaze.
The fire was extinguished in 30 minutes, but one person, believed to be a woman, was found dead at the entrance to the adult ballroom on the 4th floor where the fire started.
On the CCTV near the shopping center where the fire started, after the fire started, someone was filmed leaving the body on fire.

“I don’t think it was a big fire. It looks like someone started the fire on that floor, but one person ran away…”
Two men in their 60s and 40s on the same floor were also taken to hospital with burns.
The police launched an investigation, focusing on the possibility that the person who fled with the burning body could have started the fire using a flammable substance.
[경찰 관계자]
“Something like that (the escape of a person caught on fire) has been confirmed. We are looking for (a suspect) through CCTV in the vicinity.”
At the time of the fire, many shops and restaurants were not operating, so there were no additional injuries.
The police are investigating the relationship between the arson suspect and the deceased, and are investigating the exact cause of the fire through identification at the scene.
