4.5 magnitude earthquake shakes Oman Officials say UAE has not been affected – Jaihind TV

Dubai: A small earthquake shook the Arabian Gulf on Sunday, according to the epicenter of the Sultan Qaboos University seismic center in Oman. The quake had a magnitude of 4.5 on Sunday morning. The source was 655 km from Khasab in Oman.

It was recorded 21 km below the earth’s surface. The UAE National Weather Service also confirmed the quake on Sunday morning. The intensity was 4.7, according to UAE officials. The epicenter was reported below the epicenter, however; no tsunami alert was issued.
