“I’m going to the beach, swimming with my friends, and eating something delicious for dinner.”

On the day of the highest daytime temperature in Busan of 32.2 degrees Celsius this year, nearly 50,000 people flocked to Haeundae.

This year, in particular, as social distancing is lifted, it is the first time in three years to jump into the sea without a mask and enjoy the summer sea.

“It’s good to go out with friends like this, play in the water, and play pranks. I couldn’t go out a lot because of Corona, but it’s great to be able to hang out with my friends like this today.”

The ‘Busan Sea Festival’, which has been suspended due to Corona 19, is also scheduled to be held at the end of this month, so Haeundae Beach is back in 3 years.

Beaches on the east coast, west coast, and Jeju area also showed early summer vacationers coming in two days after opening to cool off the sweltering heat.
