5072 people freed in Saudi today; Illness in 4535 people

In Saudi Arabia today, 5,072 people have been diagnosed with Kovid and 4,535 have been diagnosed with the disease. The number of people arriving at the emergency department has also dropped significantly today. Only 18 people were in critical condition today. Of these, 43,600 are currently in treatment.

Kovid has been testing more than 214,000 people a day since the Omicron outbreak began in the country. But since last day, less than one and a half lakh checks have been carried out. The highest number of cases were reported in Riyadh (1408), Jeddah (566), Makkah (199), Abha (166) and Madinah (157). Elsewhere, there are less than 150 new cases. Despite the decline in cases and the increase in immunizations, nationwide inspections are continuing to find institutions and individuals that fall short of preventive measures.
