Kovid confirmed 9445 people in the state today. During the last 24 hours, 82,689 samples were tested. TPR 11.42%. 529 more deaths confirmed. Kovid confirmed another 330 undocumented deaths. 199 deaths are on the list as per the Supreme Court norms. Today, 93 Kovid deaths have been confirmed, bringing the total death toll to 29,977. Ernakulam 1517, Thiruvananthapuram 1284, Kozhikode 961, Thrissur 952, Kottayam 840, Kollam 790, Idukki 562, Pathanamthitta 464, Malappuram 441, Kannur 422, Palakkad 393, Alappuzha 340, Wayanad 333 and Kasaragod 146 districts were affected today.
The weekly infection population ratio (WIPR) is 211 wards in 158 local bodies above 10. There will be strict control here. There are currently 2,68,639 people under surveillance in various districts of the state. Of these, 2,60,359 are under home / institutional quarantine and 8,280 are under hospital surveillance. A total of 619 people were newly admitted to the hospital. Currently, out of 76,554 Kovid cases, only 9.4 per cent are admitted to hospitals / field hospitals.
Today, 28 of those diagnosed with the disease are from outside the state. 9069 people were infected through contact. Contact source for 297 is not clear. The disease affected 51 health workers. A total of 6723 people who had been diagnosed and treated were cured. Thiruvananthapuram 476, Kollam 1230, Pathanamthitta 423, Alappuzha 371, Kottayam 251, Idukki 125, Ernakulam 884, Thrissur 987, Palakkad 450, Malappuram 277, Kozhikode 532, Wayanad 210, Kannur 368 and Kasaragod 139 were cured. With this, 76,554 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are still undergoing treatment. 48,31,468 have so far been freed from Kovid.
