Lucknow: Doctors have pronounced a young man dead seven hours later. The incident took place in Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh. Sreekesh Kumar, who was injured in a car accident, returned to ‘life’ seven hours later.
Electrician Sreekesh Kumar was rushed to the district hospital around midnight on Thursday after being injured in a road accident. The doctors who examined him said that the young man was dead. The hospital staff then transferred the ‘body’ of the young man to the freezer in the mortuary.
The twists and turns came when police and relatives arrived the next morning to conduct an inquest and postmortem. By then, seven hours had passed. Sreekesh’s niece noticed the young man’s movements while identifying the ‘body’ in the presence of police at the mortuary. They immediately shouted and shouted that the young man was not dead. The woman also said that her brother was breathing. With this, the police and staff informed the doctors and the young man was shifted from the mortuary to the intensive care unit. Srikesh is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital in Meerut. It is learned that the health condition of the youth has improved. But relatives said he had not regained consciousness.
Meanwhile, the relatives said they would lodge a complaint with the police against the negligence of the doctors. The relatives alleged that the doctors had transferred the undead youth to the freezer and that his health was deteriorating. But the Moradabad Chief Medical Superintendent’s response was that it was a rare occurrence. The superintendent said that this could not be seen as the fault of the doctors. Shiv Singh said.
The doctor in the emergency department examined the patient at 3 in the morning. There was no heartbeat at the time. The doctor examined the young man several times. The death was then confirmed. But when police and relatives arrived in the morning, they found the young man alive. The medical superintendent added that an investigation has been ordered into the incident and that saving the young man’s life is currently a priority.
