By region, 8 out of 10 bookings focused on travel to South East Asia and Japan. South East Asia accounted for more than half at 54%, followed by Japan (30%) and Europe (7%).

In Southeast Asia, tourists flocked to Vietnam (36%), Thailand (17%) and the Philippines (12%). Within Japan, northern Kyushu, Osaka, and Hokkaido showed an even distribution.

By departure date, the number of passengers who left on the 21st, the first day of the holiday, was the highest at 32%. Passengers who left on the 20th, the day before the holiday, also accounted for 26%. In particular, 67% of reservations that left on the 20th were from South East Asia, and 45% of those that left on the 21st were from Japan. There was a high preference for destinations and timetables that could be visited during the holiday season.
