75,000 daily confirmed cases of coronavirus in Germany, a record high… Over 100,000 deaths

Germany’s cumulative death toll from COVID-19 has surpassed 100,000, and the number of daily new cases has also surpassed 70,000 for the first time.

The German Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (RKI) reported that 75,961 new cases were confirmed in the last 24 hours.

This is the highest number since the outbreak of COVID-19 in Germany.

There were also 351 deaths from COVID-19, with the cumulative death toll reaching 101,119, exceeding 100,000.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said at a press conference in Berlin that “this is a very sad day to mourn for the 100,000 COVID-19 victims.”
