US President Joe Biden lost his balance and fell while trying to get off his bicycle on the 18th (local time). Although he was not seriously injured, the 79-year-old President Biden has also caught the attention of the American media after falling in public places in the past.

According to a White House report, President Biden went to a private villa near Rehoboth Beach in Delaware the night before and rode a bicycle at Cape Henrofen State Park with his wife Jill Biden this morning. Behind President Biden, dressed in sportswear and wearing a white helmet, bodyguards also carried bicycles and electric carts.

As he was passing the bike path in the park, President Biden saw a group of people gathering to see him and approached him. He came to a complete stop and fell to one side as he was about to get off. Immediately, the bodyguards rushed to his feet, assisted by President Biden to stand up. Jill did not see Biden fall because she had left President Biden behind and moved forward.

President Biden said, “It’s okay,” when reporters asked how he was doing. The joint source said that Biden did not appear to have any scratches, cuts or bruises after he fell. After that, President Biden spoke with the crowd, answered reporters’ questions, and then rode his bike back off the scene.

A White House official said: “As the president said, his foot jammed when he got off the bike, but he’s fine and he doesn’t need medical attention,” a White House official said.

President Biden, who celebrated his 45th wedding anniversary on the 17th, plans to stay at his villa in Rehoboth Beach until the 20th, an alternative to ‘Junteen’s Day’ on June 19th, which is a federal holiday for the emancipation of slaves. After finishing his bike ride that day, he went through his personal follow-up schedule without difficulty, such as visiting the cathedral.

Biden, the oldest president in U.S. history at the time of inauguration, is now 79 years old. In March of last year, he stumbled and fell while running up the stairs to board the presidential plane ‘Air Force One’. In November 2020, while he was still in office, he limped for a while after playing with his dog at his Wilmington, Delaware home, when he slipped and incontinent suffered incontinence on his right ankle.
