80 media workers were arrested in Iran in four months. Three female media workers were arrested in two days. The arrest is part of the protests over the killing of a Kurdish woman, Mahsa Amini, by Iran’s religious police.
He was arrested for allegedly opposing government policies and religious regulations through media news and response on social media.
