In the dark of dawn, an ambulance with warning lights arrives in front of the villa and firefighters enter the building.

Then a police officer arrives and heads for the building.

There was a report that “the baby is not breathing” on the second floor of the villa.

Paramedics arrived five minutes later, but the two-year-old boy was already dead.

“When the paramedics arrived, they appeared to be dead, so they said they handed him over to the police and came in.”

As a result of the police investigation, it was revealed that a woman in her 20s who had been living alone with her child had left the house alone for the past three days.

The woman who returned home at around 2am today found the child dead and called 119 at 3:30am.

The woman told the police that she had gone to work on an urgent request from an acquaintance, but was unable to come home because the work had taken longer than expected.

The city’s gas and water bills were in arrears.

In front of the house where the child died, a stroller is left like this, and a notice is attached announcing that the water supply bill has not been paid.

Before the woman separated from her husband, it was confirmed that she had arrears in terms of communication costs, and she was informed about the welfare system by the administrative welfare center in the area where she lived at the time.

“I came to the district office and applied for childcare allowance, and I think I could have done that if I had tried to apply for (other benefits).”

However, after separating from her husband last year, her address did not change when she moved, and because of this, the administrative welfare center in the jurisdiction was not aware of the residence of these mothers and fathers.

“It wasn’t a situation where we had an address, so it’s not a situation where we’re applying directly.”

Neighbors didn’t even know who lived in the house.

“I had no idea there was a baby here. I didn’t even see the baby.”

Police quickly arrested the woman on charges of child abuse and death, and are considering whether to apply for an arrest warrant.
