The incident took place during a match between the Sydney Thunder and the Adelaide Strikers. Jake Weatherald of the Adelaide Strikers came out on top. Weatherold was running out at the same time on the non-Strikers end and the Strikers end.
The events start with the 5th ball of the 10th over. Philip Salt, who was at the Strikers end at the ball of Chris Green, attempted a straight drive. However, the ball hit Green’s hand and bounced off the wicket at the non – Strikers’ end. Weatherald was unable to reach the Strikers’ end due to confusion during his attempt for the run. Just before that, the keeper dived and kicked.
What just happened?! Jake Weatherald somehow got run out at both ends, on the same ball! ????
