(Hong Kong = Yonhap News) Correspondent Yoon Go-eun = In celebration of the ‘Year of the Tiger’, the Hong Kong Myungbo reported on the 24th that a ‘Hotel Room with a Tiger View’ is being promoted in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, China.

Nantong Forest Wildlife Park is building a ‘Tiger Observatory’ in partnership with the Sun Dee Tree House Hotel located in the park to celebrate the Lunar New Year holiday.

The Tiger Observatory was originally a Bengal tiger exhibition hall at the zoo, but it has been turned into four rooms for tourists to stay.

The guest of the room can sleep with only one transparent glass window in between and looking at the tiger.

This raises concerns about hotel room safety and animal welfare.

The hotel said, “The glass is the highest level among bulletproof glass, and the safety level of the room is very good.”

He explained, “We prepared this room as an experience product for the Year of the Tiger.”

However, it is said that construction is still in progress and is waiting for a business license from the authorities.
