A man gets a prison in Detroit's hit and run death

DETROIT – A man was sent up to 15 years in prison for killing Detroit police kill.

Friday was sentenced to Jonathan Cole, who was nineteen years old. Wayne County prosecutor's office said that he had not entered any competition last month with charges for reckless driving which had caused death and not to stop at a crash site causing death.

Cole was convinced to meet with Fadi Shukur, 30 years of age, as the crowd officer helped spread after a party in August. Shukur died later.

Cole apologized to Friday in court with the Shukur family and the police department.

Cole was charged with a second stage murder, but a judge refused that charge in September after saying that the evidence was not supporting him.
