This is an obstetrics and gynecology department in Cheongju, North Chungcheong Province, where there was a big fire yesterday.
As you can see, smoke hit the inside of the hospital where there were fifty-two pregnant women and newborns, but all were able to evacuate quickly within 10 minutes of the fire.

The entrance to the postpartum care center on the 6th floor of the obstetrics and gynecology building.
Opening the door connected to the emergency stairs, a mother rushes in.
Other mothers also make phone calls and run to somewhere.
Moments later, the mothers rush down the emergency stairs with their baby in their arms.
Hearing that the building was on fire, the first thing he did was run to the newborn room where the babies were.

“I almost couldn’t come out because it was full of black smoke.”
(Was the baby with you then?)
“No. I went to the newborn room to find it (I evacuated).”
Cooking staff also wrap babies in a thin cloth and evacuate one after another by the emergency stairs.

“The mothers each came to look for their babies, and for the mothers who didn’t come, we brought all the babies out.”
At the same time, the medical examination center on the 4th floor of the hospital.
Hospital staff hurriedly guide pregnant women to the emergency stairwell.
A pregnant woman who covers her mouth and nose with a towel is supported by hospital staff as she walks towards the stairs.
Shortly after people evacuated, black smoke filled the hallways on the fourth floor.
The mothers who were hospitalized in the hospital room on the 8th floor, with Ringer in their arms, walked right and left in front of the elevator, and immediately headed for the emergency stairs.
Black smoke already covered the first and second floors of the building, but mothers, newborns, and staff walked down to the first basement floor and quickly escaped through the passageway opposite the fire.
Within 10 minutes of the fire, all 125 people in the hospital were safely evacuated.
