Po redefine the legal, institutional and operational frameworks in order to respond to the changes that took place 10 years ago, Togo plans to update its national cultural policy. The objective pursued, according to the Togolese Minister of Culture, Dr Kossi Gbenyo LAMADOKOU, aims to maximize in a sustainable way, its impact on a wide range of the country’s development objectives.

This is an essential reform in order to maximize the impact of culture, An expected impact on a wide range of development objectives, in particular the structural transformation of the economy for strong, sustainable, resilient, inclusive growth and creator of decent jobs. It should be noted that it is the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) that supports the collection of data, within the framework of this review.
