‘A Round the Neighborhood Season 2’ MC Lee Man-gi confirmed… Kim Young-cheol’s successor

Lee Man-gi, a former Ssireum Cheonhajangsa former broadcaster, was selected as the MC for ‘One Round of the Neighborhood’.

According to KBS on the 29th, “Lee Man-gi has been confirmed as the MC for season 2”.

The production team said, “From Kim Young-cheol, a national boy, to Lee Man-ki, the son of the neighborhood, in the beautiful succession of the neighborhood keeper, we will deliver a story that is warm, pleasant, and the life of real neighborhood heroes shines.”



KBS1’s current affairs program ‘A Walk in the Neighborhood of Kim Young-cheol’ started on November 24, 2018 in Mangwon-dong and Seongsan-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, and toured cities and regions across the country for 3 years and 8 months. With Kim Young-cheol, he meets ordinary neighbors and discovers the hidden stories of the neighborhood and rediscovers the value of the neighborhood, receiving a lot of response from viewers.

The power of ‘Kim Young-cheol’s One Neighborhood’ was played by the documentary’s gaze and visual beauty, which looked at ordinary neighbors and neighborhoods with special eyes, and the presence of national actor Kim Young-cheol.



Host Kim Young-cheol said about his departure, “Finding the viewers’ bedroom every Saturday evening was a new challenge for me, and it was a blissful time. However, as an actor, I have to give up and take on other things, so I decided to have time to recharge and take a break.”



‘Kim Yeong-cheol’s Neighborhood One Wheel’ will finish season 1 on July 9th with 178 laps. After the special episode aired on July 16th, from July 23rd, the new season 2 led by Lee Man-gi, the new host, will continue ‘one round of the neighborhood’.



On the other hand, the first story of ‘Around the Neighborhood Season 2’ will be aired on Saturday, July 23 at 7:10 pm.
