A slower paragon based game than the original, ‘Sumaragon’ is coming to Steam

Paragon game developer Shumaragon will start an open test of Schmaragon, a casual third-person AOS game based on Paragon, on Steam on December 1st. The same game is based on Paragon, but unlike Paragon Netmarvre: The Overprime, which adjusted the tempo faster than the original, it is characterized by adjusting the gameplay more slowly.

You can meet various heroes in Shumaragon. While some heroes are much stronger than others (up to 4-5x) in terms of simple performance, relatively weak heroes can balance strong heroes with tactics.

Each hero’s abilities can be configured individually, and each hero can choose two abilities from a pool of nine abilities. Simplicity is the key to character selection in Shumaragon, and the developer says he’s trying to follow the old adage that “all the best games are easy to learn and hard to master.” The hero can control a companion dog or beast. The companions of this hero are easily controlled by the player and help bring a tactical advantage.

The essence of the game is that it is much slower and at a tactical pace than similar third person AOSs. If Paragon: The Overprime, which is produced by Netmarble based on Paragon like Shumaragon, offers fast play with a faster tempo than Paragon, Shumaragon competes with slow tempo and strategic play.

Shumaragon will begin public testing on Steam on December 1st. Korean is not supported and can only be played in English.
