After buying a used foreign car worth hundreds of millions of won, the police arrested a gang who deliberately caused accidents several times.
In the case of luxury foreign cars, the used car prices are relatively low, but the insurance compensation is high.

Last May, an outskirts road in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province.
The delivery vehicle, which was moving slowly, crashed into a vehicle standing on the left side of the road without changing its direction.
The damaged vehicle was a BMW car with a factory price of more than 200 million won.
The front of the car was completely crushed and parts fell off.
The BMW owner claimed 57 million won from the insurance company.
However, the insurance company found something suspicious in the accident.
The accident site was wide enough for several vehicles to pass.
Nevertheless, the insurance company’s suspicions began in that the car collided with a car parked on the edge.
After receiving the report, the police caught a strange screen on the surrounding CCTV.
The two people, the perpetrator and the victim of a traffic accident, disappeared in two cars in turn as if they were a party.
In fact, they were a gang of conspirators in ‘insurance fraud’.
It has been revealed that in a month since last April, the fact that four luxury foreign cars, such as BMW and Jaguar, were purchased second-hand and had accidents four times.
High-end foreign cars can be bought cheaply as the price of used cars drops significantly over time, but we took advantage of the fact that the compensation for accidents is high.
In fact, the used BMW that appeared on the screen was bought for 22 million won and was about to be rewarded three times as much.
Among the six people per day, a former employee of an insurance company specializing in traffic accidents was the planner, and an employee of a repair company specializing in imported cars was also included.

“Because I’m a (former) insurance company employee, so I know that if I ask for more (compensation) during the negotiation process, I can give more…”
To avoid suspicion, they hired three real couriers to cause an accident.
They admitted all the charges in the police investigation, and the police handed them over to the prosecution.
