STARKVILLE, Miss. – Mississippi State Guard Jordan Danberry has received a waiver that allows her to play for the Bulldogs as a graduate student this season.
Danberry registered at Mississippi State in January 2017 after six games to play for Arkansas as a shophomore. She sat the rest of that season according to the NCAA's transfer rules before she started her Mississippi State on December 10, 2017.
As Danberry lost an eligibility year without re-launching during the 2016-17 season, the NCAA has granted a waiver which enabled it to play a larger season for Mississippi State in 2019-20. She graduated in December and will work towards her masters degree in business administration.
A 5-foot-8 guard, Danberry started all of the 36 game for Mississippi State as the last senior season. It had an average of 13.1 points, 3.5 and 3.4 reimbursements.
