Now there are reports that a die-hard football fan watched a live FIFA World Cup match while undergoing surgery.

A young man who watched a football match live on TV during an operation went viral in Poland. He watched the football game while receiving spinal anesthesia and undergoing surgery. The photo of the young man during the operation was shared by the SP Sauce MSVA hospital authorities in Kielce.
The Daily Mail reports that the young man underwent abdominal surgery on November 25 in Kielce. During the match between Wales and Iran, the man, who has not been named, was asking doctors if he could watch the match.
After administering spinal anesthesia, the doctors allowed him to watch the World Cup on a television set in a corner of the operating theatre. The young man watched the game during the operation which lasted for three hours. Wales lost that game against Iran.

The photo shared by the Polish Hospital on social media went viral. “There is only one service for our patients, everyone under subliminal anesthesia is happy,” captioned the photo.
