Actor Kim Sae-ron (22) was charged with drunk driving, and it was reported that there was one passenger at the time of the accident.

On the 18th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul booked Kim Sae-ron on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act (drunk driving). At around 8 am on the same day, the police arrived and caught Kim Sae-ron, who was driving, after receiving reports from several citizens saying, “The vehicle driving in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu is noticeably shaking.”

When Kim Sae-ron blew the alcohol detector, it came out positive, so the police tried to measure the blood alcohol level, but Kim Sae-ron refused and requested blood.

A police official said, “We plan to confirm the charges based on the results of the blood collection.” “The results will come out in about a week.”

Kim Sae-ron, while driving a black SUV, crashed into a guard rail, a transformer, and a street tree several times on the same day. In this accident, the transformer was damaged, and electricity was temporarily cut off in four shopping malls and street lights in the neighboring buildings, and restoration work was carried out. Fortunately, no one was injured.

According to YTN, it was reported that there was one other passenger in the car at the time in addition to Kim Sae-ron. The identity of the passenger has not yet been released.

According to eyewitness accounts and photos reported by a reader to Maeil Business Star Today on that day, Kim Sae-ron hit a transformer near Exit 5 of Apgujeong Rodeo Station on the Suin-Bundang Line in a car accident, causing chaos. The reader said, “Due to the accident, the electricity and traffic lights of some shops around were also turned off.” In the accompanying photo, equipment and technicians were dispatched to repair the transformer.

The agency’s Gold Medalist said on the same day, “Kim Sae-ron underwent a blood test for an accurate test, and after the test, she was sent home without any other investigation under the accompaniment of her guardian.”

Kim Sae-ron debuted in 2001 as a model for children’s magazines. She made her face intensely public as her child actor in the 2010 movie ‘The Mister’ starring Won Bin. Since then, she has appeared in various works such as the movie ‘Neighbor’, ‘The Eye’, the drama ‘Glamorous Temptation’, ‘The Witch’s Guard’ and ‘Excellent Shaman Street Sim’.
