Renowned Actor MR. Gopakumar to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award at International Film Festival

In recognition of his exceptional contribution to the film industry, esteemed actor MR. Gopakumar has been selected as the recipient of the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the 7th Independent Art International Film Festival. The announcement was made today by festival director Venu Nair.

The accolade, which is the highest honour bestowed by the festival, will be presented to MR. Gopakumar in a special ceremony during the event’s closing on the 21st of this month. Esteemed politician Pannyan Ravindran will have the honor of presenting the award to the veteran actor.

Along with a beautifully crafted statue symbolizing this esteemed recognition, MR. Gopakumar will also receive a certificate of appreciation for his outstanding contributions to the world of cinema.

The International Film Festival is currently underway at Thiruvananthapuram’s esteemed Mar Ivanios College Auditorium and will continue till the 21st of May. Showcasing a diverse selection of 24 films from seven countries, the festival has attracted immense talent from different corners of India.

Festival director Venu Nair expressed his delight at the participation of filmmakers from various regions across India, coming together to celebrate the art of filmmaking in collaboration with Mar Ivanios College.

Thiruvananthapuram: 3rd Seventh Independent Art International Film Festival Lifetime Achievement Award for Outstanding Contribution to Actor MR. Gopakumar became worthy. Pannyan Ravindran will present the award at the closing ceremony on the 21st. The award includes a statue and a certificate of appreciation. The festival will be held at Mar Ivanios College Auditorium, Thiruvananthapuram from 19 to 21. 24 films from seven countries are being showcased at the fair. Festival director Venu Nair said that filmmakers from different parts of India will participate in the film festival organized in association with Mar Ivanios College.
