Mumbai: Veteran film, television and theater actor Vikram Gokhala (75) passed away. He died while undergoing treatment at Deenath Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune. He was under treatment in the hospital for the last 15 days.
Gokhale was admitted to the hospital a few days ago. He was transferred to a ventilator after his health deteriorated.
Vikram Gokhale started his acting career at the age of 26. He was active in Bollywood, Marathi and Bengali languages. She has acted in films like Amitabh Bachchan’s Agneepath, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Hum Dil Gay Chuke Sanam, Mission Mangal, Bang Bang Bang and Bhool Bhulaiya. In 2010, he won the Desia Award for Best Actor for his performance in the Marathi film Sanoom. He has also acted in a number of television series.
