Aerial photography, selfie yellow machine super-sized boy! Snap Pixy is ready to stock-ePrice.HK

Snap, which is owned by video-sharing platform Snapchat, has just released its new aerial camera Pixy, another hardware product for the social platform after Snap Spectacles camera sunglasses. Pixy is a small and simple aerial camera. It cannot be compared with DJI, Parrot, etc. in function, but Pixy also has its own unique features.

Simple to control but mediocre effect

The Pixy with its bright yellow eye-catching body can be activated by simply pressing the button on the top of the camera, and has 4 flight modes, including hovering, surrounding, tracking, etc. for users to choose from. The biggest feature is that it does not need to use remote control. Pixy has two built-in camera lenses, one of which is used for navigation and landing, and the other lens can record 2.7K video, but from the real-shot video displayed on the official website, Pixy’s shooting effect is quite general, regardless of color reproduction. The shock resistance is also very limited. Users can take off by simply holding the Pixy in the palm of their hand, and can also land in the palm of their hand when finished shooting.

US and France take the lead in listing

Videos shot by Pixy can be sent and stored in Snapchat’s Memories, and can also be edited and added with special effects and sound effects using Snapchat’s post-production tools, and then uploaded to social platforms. Snap did not provide specific specifications for the Pixy, only that the detachable battery can shoot 5 to 8 times on the fly, and the manufacturer will also sell extra batteries. Pixy is available now in the US and France for $230 (equivalent to HK$1,805).
