Following on from 2020’s Bad Boys for Life (Bad Boys for Life), Will Smith is announcing his return today for a brand new sequel to yet another classic. Foreign media “Deadline” reported today that the apocalyptic sci-fi blockbuster “I Am Legend”, which has swept nearly $600 million at the global box office, will be filmed for a sequel after 15 years of breach, and this time it has also added another extra bid. Popular fried chicken – Michael B. Jordan (Michael B. Jordan), two black superstars of different generations on the same stage, is bound to add more selling point.

Deadline noted that Jordan and Smith will not only co-star, but also co-produce the episode. In addition to Smith’s return to the team, Akiva Goldsman, the veteran Gold Award screenwriter who wrote the script for the first episode, has also confirmed to continue to write the second episode. Will Smith posted a still from the scene of “I Am Legend” on his personal Instagram today (above), and Michael B. Jordan also posted the same still, which is equivalent to confirming the matter.

In fact, the preparatory news for “I Am Legend 2” was leaked as early as early February when Warner Bros. and the long-standing Village Roadshow film company had a lawsuit. As the co-producer of “I Am Legend”, Village Roadshow sued Warner. In an attempt to deprive the two parties of the copyrights of many films shared by the two parties, “I Am Legend” is one of them, and Warner’s plan to continue “I Am Legend” was revealed in the lawsuit documents. “I Am Legend 2” has not yet determined the director candidate, and the plot direction is unknown, and it remains to be seen what happens next.
