At around 7:30 last night, a car driven by a man in his 30s crashed into a convenience store in Pyeonghwa-dong, Jeonju-si, Jeonbuk-do.
At the time, the shop owner, a woman in her 40s, was inside the convenience store, and the shelf fell in shock, injuring her ankle.
“It looks like the owner of the shop, but she got hurt and was taken to hospital.”
The man who was caught by the police is said to have committed the crime while drunk after arguing with his uncle and his wife, who run the place, over money.
The police arrested the man on charges of damage to special property, bodily injury, and drunken driving, and they are investigating the details of the incident.
