Chennai: Beast is the latest movie starring Dalapati Vijay. The first look posters of the movie directed by Nelson Dileep Kumar were released yesterday.
Beast is gearing up for Vijay’s 65th film. There is a lot of speculation about his 66th film. According to reports, Dasing Periyasamy, who directed Dulquer Salman starrer Kannum Kannum Kollayadithaal, will be directing the next film.
However, it has been reported that Vijay’s 66th film will be directed by another hit director. It is reported that the film will be directed by Vamsi Pedipally, directed by the Telugu hit Maharshi.
Gireesh Johar, who is also a film tracker, has revealed the new director of Vijay. It is reported that the film will be made in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously.
Vamsi is the director of some of the biggest grossing Telugu films like Upiri and Yevadu. It is reported that Vijay is getting a record reward for the film.
According to reports, Vijay was paid Rs 100 crore for his latest release ‘Master’ and Rs 120 crore for his new film.
Meanwhile, the shooting of Beast starring Vijay is in progress. The film is produced by Sun Pictures. Anirudh is the music director of the film. Pooja Hegde is the heroine of the movie.
Malayalee actors Aparna Das and Shine Tom Chacko will be seen in the lead roles in the film.
