‘Bull’ Hee-chan Hwang (26, from Chuncheon, Wolverhampton) played the first full-time after returning from injury.

Hwang Hee-chan started full-time in the English Premier League round 28 home game for the 2021-2022 season against Crystal Palace held at Molyne Stadium in Wolverhampton, England on the 6th (Korean time).

Hwang Hee-chan started out as a three-top player with Daniel Fodens and Pedro Netu on that day and ran the field until the end of the game. After hurting a hamstring during a regular league match against Brighton & Hove Albion in December of last year, Hwang Hee-chan made a comeback on the 13th of last month as a substitute against Tottenham Hotspur, playing full-time for the first time since. He has started in a row in his last three games, but this is the first time he has played until the end of a match. However, Hwang Hee-chan was unable to raise the attacking point on that day.

Wolverhampton lost 0-2. As a result, Wolverhampton, which has lost three consecutive losses since the last match against Arsenal (1-2) on the 25th of last month, stayed in 8th place with 40 points (12 wins, 4 draws and 11 losses). Wolverhampton conceded five goals and conceded only one goal during their three-game losing streak. The only team to score during this period was Hwang Hee-chan’s fifth goal in the regular league against Arsenal.

Wolverhampton conceded the winning goal in the 19th minute of the first half. Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha penetrated into the right side of the penalty area and the ball slipped out during a contest between Jean-Philippe Mateta and Wolverhampton goalkeeper and defender, and Mateta pushed it in with his right foot. Then, in the 34th minute of the first half, Maximilian Kilman gave up a penalty kick for a foul. Jaha, who started as the kicker, shook the net with a powerful right-footed shot, and the weight of the game was even more tilted.

No luck followed. In the 29th minute of the second half, Hwang Hee-chan attempted a right-footed non-stop shot near the penalty area, but the ball went high. It was the only shot Hwang Hee-chan recorded that day. Seunghwan Jeong
