“Our Blues” is a TV series co-created by the screenwriter Noh Hee-kyung of “Live” and “My Dear Friends” and the director of “It’s Okay, It’s Love” and “Lovers of the Moon – Step by Step: Rei” . With the warm Jeju Island and the cold sea as the background, the play tells the ups and downs of life stories of 14 characters in the form of a unit drama.
In the play, Kim Woo-bin plays the innocent and warm captain Park Jung-joon. Even though everyone else went to Seoul, Park Jung-joon was not greedy and still protected his hometown of Jeju and his family as a crew member. He fell in love at first sight with Lee Young-ok, played by Han Ji-min, and his dream was to live a simple life in Jeju with the woman he loves. He transformed and decorated an abandoned bus into a coffee shop, big enough to live on the beach, and it shows that he is a romantic person.
The production team released the first set of stills of Kim Woo Bin, who perfectly transformed into Captain Park Jung Joon in “Our Blues”. In the play, Park Jung-joon not only fishes on the boat, brings haenyeo, but also sells fish at auction houses and markets. Kim Woo-bin, who lives a busy life, naturally integrates into the scenes of life, showing the honest character of the captain Park Jung-joon.
