Yes, President-elect Yoon had a chat with Archbishop Jeong Sun-taek, the head of the Catholic Archdiocese of Seoul this morning.

Archbishop Jeong asked President-elect Yoon to take care of the weak, and President-elect Yoon replied that he would.

Afterwards, President-elect Yoon visited a free lunch restaurant in Myeong-dong, Seoul and served food.

President-elect Yoon explained that he kept his promise to come to serve after the election.

President-elect Yoon has a phone call with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte today.

In a phone call with Ukrainian President Zelensky yesterday, he said, “Let’s meet as soon as possible after the end of the war,” Yoon explained.

The new government’s appointment of the first prime minister is accelerating.

Ahn Cheol-soo, chairman of the transition committee, held a press conference in the morning and formalized his position that he would not assume the position of the first prime minister that drew attention.

Instead, he said that he would diligently recommend qualified candidates as ministers in the sense of keeping the promise to the public to the common government.

The explanation is that not participating in the cabinet directly will increase the burden on President-elect Yoon.

Chairman Ahn also hinted at the possibility of challenging the party in the future, saying, “We need time to recharge,” and he thinks there are many things that can contribute to such things as expanding the party’s support base.

The names of the first prime ministers include former Prime Minister Han Duk-su, Kim Han-gil, chairman of the National Integration Commission, former Financial Services Commission Chairman Im Jong-ryong, and former Minister of Knowledge Economy Choi Jung-kyung, among others.

i See. Today, the transition committee had a meeting with the Air Transport Service, didn’t it?

What stories did you talk about?

[기자]

Yes, as you said, the transition committee held a meeting with the Air Transport Agency.

It drew attention as to what opinions would be exchanged with respect to the repeal of Article 24 of the Air Traffic Control Act, which is the promise of President-elect Yoon.

Article 24 of the Air Traffic Control Act is a provision stipulating the duty to notify the Air Traffic Service of high-ranking public officials recognized by other investigative agencies and the right to request the transfer of the case.

After the meeting, the transition committee said, “It was pointed out that the Minister of Airborne Affairs is concerned about the arbitrary exercise of the right to request a transfer of the case, and that there is no clear standard for the provision of notification of the Airborne Service and a reply on whether to initiate an investigation.”

In response, the Ministry of Air Transport said that it was reflecting on the areas that fell short of the public’s expectations and announced that it would prepare a check-in device.

The transition committee also pointed out the issue of the ‘indiscriminate exercise of communication data inquiry’ by the Ministry of Air Transport.

The Ministry of Air Transport responded that it would prepare control devices such as communication data examiners to ensure that freedom of the press is not violated.

The transition committee reported to Kim Jin-wook, Minister of Airborne Affairs, that there was a public opinion about expressing his position on the way he was going.

While pointing out the independence and neutrality of the Airborne Service, it seems to have taken into account the aspects that could be viewed as contradictory.

Meanwhile, Ahn Cheol-soo, chairman of the transition committee, met with women’s organizations to gather opinions on the pledge to abolish the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.

Chairman Ahn said at this meeting that he would like to hear opinions, saying, “The times are changing and roles are changing.”
