New Delhi: Air India has canceled flights to Kabul. Commercial flights from Kabul International Airport have been canceled. In addition, Air India AI126 flight from Chicago to Delhi was diverted due to air blockade.

Tolo News reported that Hamid Karzai had suspended all commercial services from the international airport due to overcrowding. With the return of the Taliban to power, former government officials and foreigners flocked to Kabul airport to flee the country.

The media had released footage of thousands of people rushing to board the parked planes. U.S. forces fired into the air to disperse the crowd. Kabul Airport is the only Taliban-controlled center in Afghanistan. The United States has taken control of the only way out of the country.
