MacRumors and other foreign media reported on the 25th (local time) that a problem has been reported that some models of Apple’s latest wireless earphones, the second generation AirPods Pro, have been randomly disconnected.
According to the report, the disconnection problem occurs when the second generation AirPods Pro are connected to an iPhone to play music or watch videos. The AirPods Pro appear to be connected, but they don’t actually play sound.
One user experiencing the problem complained, “My iPhone keeps disconnecting randomly throughout the day.”
It is not known how many users will be affected by this bug, but the AirPods Pro disconnection issue is also old enough to have been reported on the original model released in 2019.
The first firmware update released by Apple last week (version 5A377) includes bug fixes and other improvements. It is not yet known if the bug fix is included.
