Airticket booked Kannur DCC

CPI (M) state committee member and Kannur district panchayat president PP Divya said that the Kannur DCC office had called the travel agency to book air tickets for the Youth Congress leaders accused in the case of trying to attack Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. The money for booking the ticket has not been paid to the travel agency yet. Divya alleged through Facebook (Airticket booked Kannur DCC).

Meanwhile, the High Court granted bail to all the three accused, who are Youth Congress leaders, in a flight protest against the Chief Minister. Farzeen Majeed and Naveen Kumar were granted bail and Sujith Narayanan was granted anticipatory bail.

The plaintiffs told the court that what happened on the plane was just a shout out and that it could not be prosecuted for attempted murder. The petition also states that when the plane landed, he only shouted slogans twice. Defendants’ counsel made the argument while considering the bail application in the High Court. The CM was not attacked. Defendants also said that it would be clear if they checked the CCTV footage.
