AKG Mall Attack: Accused’s Scooter Found AKG Mall Attack: Accused’s Scooter Found

Thiruvananthapuram: The Dio scooter used by Jithin, the accused in the case of throwing explosives at the CPM state committee office, AKG Centre, has been recovered. The scooter was taken into custody from Kumankulam.

The owner of the vehicle, Sudheesh, a native of Kazhakootam, is now abroad. Sudheesh is said to be the former driver of Youth Congress district secretary Suhail Shahjahan, who is wanted by the police for conspiring in the incident with Jeet.

The investigation team gives indications that more people will be charged in the case. The fact that the scooter and T-shirt worn by the accused could not be found in connection with the case was a difficult challenge for the crime branch. The crime branch, including in the remand report submitted to the court, had stated that the accused was identified by the T-shirt and shoes he was wearing at the time of the attack.

But the accused gave the statement that he destroyed the T-shirt by throwing it in the Veli lake. The investigation team then gathered the supporting evidence by collecting evidence at the shop where the T-shirt was bought. After that, the scooter was also found. On the day of the event, the scooter was brought to Gaurishapatta by a lady leader who is a friend of Jit.

According to the investigation team, Jithin returned from the scooter after returning the scooter to the woman and returning to his car. The police have also prepared a route map to prove this. According to the police, Suhail, who is also Jeet’s friend, is involved in the incident.
