Manama – Public Prosecution
The Acting Chief Prosecutor of the Northern Governorate stated that the Public Prosecution office had received a notification from the General Department of Investigation and Criminal Evidence stating that, following the theft of cash and gold jewelry valued at approximately 5 thousand dinars, from inside a house in Hamad Town, search and investigation operations have reached To identify the accused and arrest him.
The Public Prosecution initiated investigations into the incident, transcribed the content of the security cameras, listened to the statements of the victim, and interrogated the accused and confronted him with evidence.
The Public Prosecution ordered the accused to be detained for seven days as a precautionary measure pending investigation, and to expedite the crime scene report and the forensic evidence report for examining samples taken from the scene of the incident. Investigations are still ongoing, in preparation for bringing the accused to criminal trial.
