The national football team (Al-Mourabitoun) ranked 99th in the rankings issued by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) today, Thursday, for the month of September.
Al-Mourabitoun was ranked 101st globally in the last rankings.
Al-Mourabitoun advanced in the rankings, after qualifying for the 2024 African Nations Finals in Ivory Coast, at the expense of the Gabon national team, on the ninth of this month.
At the African level, the Moroccan national team came in first place, jumping to 13th place in the world, while Senegal came second and ranked 22nd in the world.
Argentina, the 2022 World Cup champion, maintained the top spot in the rankings, followed by France and Brazil.
