[ベルリン 25日 ロイター] – Amazon.com Inc. workers at sites around the world, including in the United States, Germany and France, are expected to go on strike during the holiday shopping season “Black Friday.” On the 25th, which is one of the busiest days of the year, we will be asking for pay improvements and other measures.

The global campaign “Make Amazon Pay” lists industrial actions planned in more than 30 countries.

The German Service Industry Workers’ Union (Verdi) said it was planning a strike at 10 distribution centers in the country. “This is the first time Amazon has had an international strike date. This is very important because a global giant like Amazon cannot be challenged locally, regionally or nationally,” said the rice field official.

An Amazon spokeswoman in Germany was not immediately available for comment.
